Complaints Policy

We take all complaints very seriously and try to ensure that all our patients are pleased with their experience of our service. When patients complain, they are dealt with courteously and promptly so that the matter is resolved as quickly as possible. It is important for you to know that Medica Travel has no medical responsibility, and for this reason, and for reasons of security, will not interfere in a doctor's or a dentist's decision.

Our aim is to react to complaints in the way in which we would want our complaint about a service to be handled. We learn from every mistake that we make, and we respond to patients’ concerns in a caring and sensitive way.

Guarantees from the clinic or hospital, and complaints about your medical treatment
A dentist can guarantee that he or she is performing the treatment based on science and proven experience; however, a dentist cannot predict or guarantee any aesthetic result, or that you will not have any complications after your surgery or treatment, even if the risks are described as being very small. It is important for you as a patient to follow the dentist or surgeon's instructions throughout the post-treatment period. If in doubt, always contact the doctor where you received your care.

Most medical care and treatment goes well, but things occasionally go wrong, and you may want to complain.

How do I make a complaint?
You can call or send us an email if you are dissatisfied with a treatment, or a result of a treatment that you received from one of the clinics or hospitals we work with. We need the following information from you:

  • A description of what you are unhappy with.
  • Pictures of the treated area
  • Other information that may be relevant to the matter.

We will contact your dentist or surgeon promptly to find a solution. In some cases, it may be necessary for you to return to the clinic for examination.
